By the end of the event, all were completely covered in color! We power walked our way thru the course in less than an hour and had a blast – we are already looking forward to next year’s festivities! Just another way to live a colorful life. Throughout the year Virginia Beach Sportsplex plays host to a number of entertaining events including the Dirty Girl mud run and the Color Me Rad fun run.

We saw bunny ears, wigs, assorted costumes and an entire bridal party in white with the bride in her full length gown. We saw lots of women in colorful tutus, even some men in tutus. Begin the 5k all nice and clean, and get blasted with the raddest color around, to then finish the race with your fellow RAD runners to celebrate at the stage. It hosts races such as Color me Rad, Dirty Girl Mud Run, Military Challenge, and Inflatable. We saw runners and walkers of all ages, from little ones in strollers to grandmothers. The Virginia Beach Sportsplex is a nationwide known 5K course. The pictures are after I give a short little. I was covering the event and decided to run the course with some friends. The emcee was a hilarious dreadlock man in pink leopard tights - he set the tone for fun. Here are some images I captured at the Color Me Rad race over the weekend.
